Guidelines for Application for a Business Visa

1	A valid passport for the Republic of South Africa.
2	Duly filled visa application form (one copy only).
3	One (recent) passport size photograph.
4	South African visas are issued free of charge to Passport holders of India.
5	A minimum of three working days is required to process an application.
6	Applicants can be requested to lodge a refundable deposit which will be refunded if the applicant complies with the conditions of the temporary residence permit.
7	Foreign Exchange must be endorsed or Intl credit card photocopy.
8	Confirmed hotel booking to be faxed by the hotel in South Africa directly to the Mission or a hotel voucher from a recognised Travel Agent.
9	A "No Objection" letter from employer/covering letter on own letterhead.
10	A letter of invitation or application fax sent to this office (see par.1 above) from the South African companies that will be visited.
11	A letter from your company / employer giving details about your position in the company, purpose of visit and period of stay. A profile of the Company you represent must also be submitted.
12	A recommendation letter from the Local Chamber of Commerce / Export Promotion Council.
13	RBI Code Number / IEC Code No. / Company Registration copy
14	In certain cases Tax Invoice can be requested.
